How it works
Four steps from sign-in to certificate.
Everything here is free. You can take the test without an account, but signing in is what lets you come back to your results and re-download a certificate.
1. Create your account
Sign up with an email address and password, or continue with Google. An account is optional for taking the test, but it is what saves your history and certificates so you can come back to them later.
Create an account2. Work through the lessons
Ten self-paced lessons cover drone types, FPV, controllers and goggles, buying, components, batteries, terminology, rules and safety, FAA Part 107, and flight and maintenance. Read them in any order, as many times as you like.
Open the lessons3. Take the test
The test pulls 60 randomized questions from a bank of 325+. You need 80% to pass, and every question is explained afterward whether you got it right or not. You can retake it as often as you want.
Take the test4. Download your certificate
Passing issues a RAPD certificate of completion with a unique code. Print it, save it as a PDF, or download a high-resolution PNG — and anyone can confirm it is real using the verification page.

Your history and profile are tied to your account and are not visible to other students. Certificate codes are the only thing designed to be shared.
